- Oracle has unveiled Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) 2.4, delivering new out-of the box Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs (PIPs) for Oracle(R) Transportation Management 6.0 to the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle's Siebel CRM.
- Oracle AIA provides a complete and open way for organizations to integrate end-to-end business processes across a broad range of custom, Oracle or third-party applications, while gaining efficiencies, increasing competitive edge and lowering total cost of ownership.
- These latest Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs utilize Oracle Transportation Management 6.0, a global transportation management system that helps streamline transportation planning, execution, financial settlement, visibility and business process automation across all modes of transportation.
- Additionally, customers will benefit from Oracle Fleet Management, the industry's first combined shipment and asset-centric transportation solution that enables companies to manage private fleet and common carrier networks on a single platform for increased asset utilization, lower transportation costs and reduced environmental impact.
- Three of these new Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs utilize the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1, Oracle's latest version that enables organizations to drive greater value across the enterprise and benefit from new, industry-specific capabilities.
- Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs for Oracle Transportation Management deliver prebuilt integrations to the Oracle E-Business Suite and Siebel CRM, enabling logistic service providers, manufacturers, retailers and wholesale distributors to rapidly configure and deploy business processes and quickly adapt to changing business requirements.

New Process Integration Packs Connect Oracle Transportation Management 6.0, the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 and Siebel CRM
- Oracle Financial Management Integration Pack for Oracle Transportation Management and Oracle E-Business Suite - Pre-configured, out-of-the box integration with Oracle Financials enables companies to audit and approve transportation invoices, pay suppliers from Oracle Payables, generate accurate and timely bills for transportation services and invoice customers from Oracle Receivables. Additionally, customers will now benefit from automated revenue recognition and cost accruals for transportation services.
- Oracle Driver Management Integration Pack for Oracle Transportation Management and Oracle E-Business Suite - Pre-configured, out-of-the-box integration between Oracle Transportation Management and Oracle Human Resources Management System, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite, enables the end-to-end management of drivers and independent contractors. The benefits include increased driver satisfaction, enhanced visibility, access to information including driver profiles, training history, certifications, training location and work invoices and accuracy for driver availability and payments.
- Oracle Order Management Integration Pack for Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle E-Business Suite and Siebel CRM - Pre-configured, out-of-the-box integration between Oracle Transportation Management and Siebel CRM Order Management and Oracle E-Business Suite Financials enables logistics service providers to increase order profitability, improve customer service, enhance customer service representative productivity, and reduce the time time-to-market for new products and services.
